Play Prep is an Autism preschool readiness program that is designed to nurture the development of children aged 18-42 months with known or suspected Autism and/or developmental delays.
Play Prep targets speech development, sensory processing, and early learning. With a focus on building social motivation, communication, and appropriate social play, our program prepares children for a smooth transition to traditional preschool and early childhood environments.
Program Features
✓ Center-based setting with 1:1 therapy and group therapy opportunities
✓ Small group ratio
✓ Highly skilled staff, including an Early Education Teacher, Speech Therapist, and Occupational Therapist
✓ Play-based therapy in a language-rich environment
✓ Focus on developing play skills, social skills, following daily routines, attentive behaviors, and self-help skills
✓ Focus on the development speech and language skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, classroom participation, and preschool readiness skills
✓ Trauma-Informed Care
✓ Parent Empowerment Programming
✓ Funding for Play Prep may be available for those who qualify for Missouri First Steps services.

✓ Monday-Thursday
✓ 4 hours/ day (16 hours per week)
